Universal Typography Poster
This is the first in a series of posters that represent the historical importance of three different typeface families through a designed type specimen. This poster is focused on the font Universal by Herbert Bayer. It is inspired by the posters of the Bauhaus and Bayer’s own works.

Musical Triptych
The goal of this design project was to create a cohesive visual artwork consisting of three distinct panels that work together to convey a unified theme. Each panel needed to be able to stand alone, but when placed together, they formed a harmonious composition. I wanted my theme to revolve around music. The three combined photographs are of my record player, my J. Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive record with half of its sleeve on, and of a wall of records in a music store on Haight street.

This is the second in a series of posters that represent the historical importance of three different typeface families through a designed type specimen. This poster is focused on the font Didot by Firmin Didot. It is inspired by books that were published at the time of Didot that used his font.

This book focuses on the life and artwork of renowned designer and educator Lucille Tenazas. It is designed in the unique style of Tenazas and takes inspiration from her designs. This book is in celebration of all that Lucille Tenazas has contributed to design.

Blackletter Typography Poster
This is the third in a series of posters that represent the historical importance of three different typeface families through a designed type specimen. This poster is focused on the font Cloister Black BT by Morris Fuller Benton and Joseph W. Phinney. It is inspired by both medieval illuminated manuscripts and modern gothic posters.

Architectural Pattern Design
The goal of this design project was to photograph exterior architectural and environmental details on the campus of the University of San Francisco and render the collage of photos into vector shapes to create a pattern. We were given a limited 3 color palette of our choice and allowed to use black, white, and gray, along with the colors’ tints and shades. I chose colors that I thought would contrast well and give the collage depth.
